The management of Embraco Slovakia, the biggest private employer in the Spiš region, as well as the local trade union signed a collective agreement involving higher wages on Monday. It followed a strike alert declared earlier in the month. According to the management, total employee earnings in the company will grow on average by 11 percent this year and a further 6 percent next year, as part of this agreement. The most significant change is the introduction of an annual bonus of up to €700 this year and up to €800 in the following one.
