The private rail passenger carrier RegioJet increased the capacity of its trains on the Bratislava-Dunajska Streda-Komarno route as of January 22, according to the TASR press agency. A new train will run at a peak time and all connections will be served double-trains. "We would like to boost train capacity by 1,000 extra seats," said RegioJet communications officer Martin Žarnovický. The number of trains on this line can't be increased too much, as it is a single-track line. Transport capacity can only be boosted via longer trains, therefore.
