Cabinet meeting focuses on changes to Education Act

The 84th cabinet meeting, which took place on Wednesday, gave significant focus towards changes in education, including an amendment to the Education Act put forward by Slovak National Party (SNS) members Eva Smolíková, Andrej Danko, Tibor Bernaťák and Tibor Jančula. The amendment aims to facilitate the implementation of electronic services in education as not to impede the application of the e-Government Act. The government agreed with the amendment to the law. The change will also allow for the electronic submission of applications for study at secondary schools to reduce the administrative burden of internal processes in schools and school facilities.
