After a month's break, the government met on Wednesday for the first time in 2018. The agenda of the 83rd government meeting covered a number of changes to laws and regulations. Minister of Health Tomáš Drucker put forward a proposal to modify and harmonise the minimum public network of outpatient emergency service providers. In specific locations, he intends to establish a network of outpatient clinics for adults and children, as well as proposing a network of urgent emergency type 1 and emergency type 2 healthcare services. Also discussed in the government meeting were changes to the labour law, with social enterprises being required to offer jobs to disadvantaged job seekers or people with disabilities. Also debated on Wednesday were changes in immigration law, with the state no longer granting permanent residence to foreigners for an unlimited period without complying with statutory conditions but only for five years. It is one of the changes that the Ministry of the Interior has incorporated in the amendment to the Alien Residence Act.
