The two-year reconstruction of Bratislava’s old bridge has been launched. It connects the capital’s historical centre with its largest borough, Petržalka, across the Danube River.
The project is to cost about €70 million and will be partially financed by the European Union. The dismantling of the steel construction is projected to be completed by March, with the new one to be in place by the summer of 2015.
