The Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico received on Friday in Bratislava the new Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš for his first official visit to the Slovak Republic. The main topic of the talks between Babiš and Fico were bilateral Czech-Slovak cooperation, especially in transport infrastructure, defense, security and energy. Of course, the prime ministers also touched on the important anniversaries that the two nations are commemorating this year, including the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic. Moreover, the Slovak Defense Minister Peter Gajdoš signed an agreement on the joint protection of the airspace, with the Czech Defense Minister Karla Šlechtová, who was accompanying Andrej Babiš on the official visit to Slovakia.
