Russian-born Slovak biathlete Anastasiya Kuzmina won on Thursday a World Cup race in Oberhof, Germany for the third time already this season. The twice Slovak Olympic gold medallist won comfortably in the 7.5-kilometre sprint, leaving behind Finland's Kaisa Makarainen (by 35.4 seconds) and the Czech Republic's Veronika Vítková (by 40.1 seconds). Overall, in the World Cup Kuzmina has strengthened her position at the top after nine events.
