During New Year's Eve the ambulance services dealt with 17 drunk children, with the youngest one being only 13. Children were also present among the patients who were injured while setting off fireworks. "We treated eight children, two of whom suffered heavy to devastating finger injuries on their hands. Fire crackers exploded in their hands," said Alena Krčová a spokesperson from the ambulance services.
