Slovakia ready to celebrate its 25 birthday

On Monday, January 1, Slovakia will enter the 25^th year of its existence. On the occasion of the establishment of the first independent Slovak Republic, a ceremonial Cabinet meeting will be held. At the event, ministers will also look back at the quarter century of quite extraordinary bilateral cooperation between the Slovak and Czech Republics. According to the survey conducted by research institutions in both countries, Czechs perceive the situation in their country to be similar to that in Slovakia while Slovaks see the situation of the Czech Republic to be much better than in Slovakia.
