Celebrate New Year in Slovak towns

The New Year's Eve celebrations start in the Slovak capital at 10 pm. Bratislava will throw a warm-up party at the Hviezdoslav Square for all those who would like to count down the last seconds of the year 2017 and celebrate 2018 with the traditional fireworks placed on a boat on the Danube River. The party in the eastern Slovak city of Košice will start at 8 pm. The easterners also prepared a New Year's Eve party for children starting at 10 am in the historical building of the town hall. The celebrations of the new year in the central Slovak town of Banská Bystrica starts at 10 pm on the SNP square in the centre.
