From December authorities are issuing new ID cards for citizens of Slovakia. These cards have an electronic chip that will enable electronic communication with the Financial Administration with a guaranteed electronic signature.
“With these new ID cards, citizens can get the guaranteed electronic signature for free. The issued certificate is valid for five years”, stated the spokeswoman for the Financial Administration.
