Christmas with largest Slovak TV project

At Christmas day, RTVS, the public TV channel, will screen the largest co-production project in the past 30 years. The biographical story entitled Maria Terezia depicts the life of Hungarian queen and Holy Roman Empress. It is a coproduction of TV stations of four neighbouring countries - Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. RTVS director Jaroslav Rezník highlighted that the project shows that Slovakia was a part of a large empire with a great history. The film was directed by Hollywood Oscar nominee Robert Dornhelm and will be screened in Slovakia as in the first out of the four co-production countries.
