Russian and Slovak entrepreneurs want to extend cooperation

The Russian Export Centre, a Russian governmental institution established to promote exports, has organised a two-day event in Bratislava with representatives of 12 Russian and 18 Slovak companies participating in bilateral talks. The key elements for the Russian companies were energy production, including nuclear power, tourism, health care, including pharmaceuticals, military and technical cooperation and technology. The participants in the meeting agreed that although the volume of bilateral trade is declining year-on-year, Russia is still one of Slovakia's most important trading partners. It is seen as being in the interests of both parties to intensify cooperation and find new opportunities for cooperation between Russian and Slovak enterprises and ensure a balance in Russia's and Slovakia's economic interests when it comes to export policy.
