Marek Hamšík writes history

Last weekend, Slovak football player Marek Hamšík has equalized the record of Argentinian legend Diego Maradona, having scored 115 goals for the Italian club S.S.C. Naples. Hamšík scored the historic goal in the 17^th round of the Italian Serie A against AC Torino. "The only thing I have equalized the Argentinian star in is the number of goals. Maradona was a unique and extraordinary player, a Neapolitan and world football legend," said Marek Hamšík. The Slovak midfielder arrived in Naples in summer 2007 and has played 477 matches for the team. On the other hand, Diego Maradona played 259 games between 1984 and 1991.
