Householders will be pleased to discover that electricity prices in 2014 will be lower than they are at present. The head of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (URSO) Jozef Holjenčík announced this to journalists on Thursday, adding that maximum electricity prices will decrease by seven percent on average.
It’s not only electricity that’s involved in an overall price decrease; natural gas prices for households will go down as well by a much narrower 0.23 percent on average. Prices of heating however are expected to remain at this year’s levels on average.
