The merger of the country’s military intelligence services has brought real financial savings, stated the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee to Oversee Military Intelligence Martin Fedor (SDKU-DS).
He said after Thursday’s meeting of the committee, which dealt with the effects of the merger, that Slovakia simply does not need such big intelligence agencies neither in the military nor in the civilian sector.
