Seven out of ten Slovaks are satisfied with the Euro, indicates the outcome of the research conducted by the MNFORCE agency in November on 500 respondents. However, more than half of Slovaks would not refuse a return to the Slovak crown. These were mostly young people under 29. On the other hand, people over the age of 61 want the old currency the least. 70% of Slovaks mentioned easier travelling and shopping abroad as the Euro's greatest benefit, while almost 24% could not name any positive. "We believe that satisfaction reflects the successful introduction of the Euro. On the other hand, people feel uncertainty about future, therefore those who perceive the risks related to the Euro prevail as a majority," said Ivor Lehotan, executive director of the TopForex company.
