On Monday, sixteen prime ministers from central and eastern Europe, including Slovak Robert Fico are meeting the Chinese Prime Minister Li Kche-čchiang in Budapest, Hungary. At this meeting, also called 16+1, the Chinese representatives should introduce the project for the so-called New Silk Route, the TASR press agency wrote. It includes financing the renovation and construction of roads, railways and ports on the way from China to Europe. According to the public broadcaster RTVS, Slovakia also aims to have a share in these investments.
