Slovak President Andrej Kiska travelled to Strasbourg on Wednesday to deliver a speech to the European Parliament (EP). Kiska will also attend a bilateral meeting with EP President Antoniom Tajani during his visit. Part of his program is also a gala dinner with Tajani and representatives of political groups. Afterwards, Kiska will meet Slovak MEPs and commissioner Maroš Šefčovič. The President is being accompanied by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivan Korčok. Kiska will be the first Slovak president to attend the European Parliament since joining the Union in 2004.
