The future of the United Kingdom's trade relations with the European Union looks very positive, thinks the British Ambassador to Slovakia, Andrew Garth. However, he understands that Brexit has brought some uncertainty to these relations. Garth addressed this issue during Wednesday's discussion seminar in Bratislava, organized by the Slovak Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Ecology. According to Garth, it is still very difficult to talk about financial matters without an idea of how the future relations between the UK and EU will be structured. On the other hand, he thinks that the 95,000 Slovaks living in the UK, as well as the many Slovaks employed by British businesses in Slovakia, should be assured about their future before the political negotiations are concluded.
