Slovaks who find themselves waiting for an ambulance to arrive are now waiting longer than in previous years. "Travel times are prolonging," says Ivo Krpelan, Regional Director for Falck for Central and Eastern Europe. This organisation encompasses the largest provider of emergency health services in the Slovak Republic. Data from the Rescue Centre confirmed his statement, showing that from 2011 to 2016, in cases requiring a paramedic, arrival times have increased by one minute and ten seconds.
