Slovak primary and secondary school students will have the autumn break on Monday and Tuesday, shortly ahead of the All Saints Day and All Souls Day (November 1 and 2). As a result, the Slovak rail company will be increasing the number of trains as of Friday, 27th October. Until November 1, there will be 2 more EuroCity category trains, 12 fast trains, 14 regional fast trains and 4 regional express trains added to the Bratislava-Košice route. Due to the end of daylight saving time on the night from Saturday to Sunday, three night trains will wait for an hour in selected stations. The daylight saving time will revert to the CET, i.e. from 3 am to 2 am.
