The Slovak start-up Nice Visions, which focuses on innovations in the energy sector, won the regional finals of the PowerUp! competition. This is organised by the biggest European energy platform InnoEnergy, with 160 starting companies and entrepreneurs from 23 countries within the Central and Eastern European region taking part in it. Slovak innovators won the votes from the jury thanks to their design of solar tiles, which are connected to each other to create a solar facade system. Moreover, the tiles have also an original aesthetic design.
