The Slovak Republic can be an influential and confident country only in the context of a united EU, while each problem cannot be solved at an individual level. That's what the President Andrej Kiska, Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko and Prime Minister Robert Fico agreed at their Monday meeting a joint procedure in the field of foreign policy in Bratislava. They also okayed mutual meetings ahead of every NATO and EU summit. "We don't have to share views on domestic political development but we have to show our unity in strategic issues," said Kiska. As he stressed, Slovakia needs a transparent modernization of its Armed Forces. However, Parliamentary speaker Andrej Danko commented that the TV news should not start "with bears" on Constitution day bank holiday.
