The stage budget deficit should reach 0,83% of GDP next year. Prime Minister Robert Fico stated this after the coalition partners' meeting on Thursday. "We have reached an agreement regarding the proposal of the 2018 state budget … to meet all the commitments stated in the government program," claimed Fico. The government's gross debt should reach 49,7% of GDP in 2018. According to Prime Minister, this is the lowest level since 2012.
