Slovak President Andrej Kiska should give details about his asset declaration to the Parliamentary Committee for Incompatibility of Functions, wrote TASR on Wednesday. The President should say whether his company Kiska Travel Agency (KTAG) owes him any money. If it does, he should explain why he did not mention it in his asset declaration as it would be a breach of the conflict of interests act. The procedure was started on the initiative of an unsuccessful president candidate, Jozef Behýľ. The committee held an extraordinary meeting on the topic on Wednesday, which opposition MPs criticized as part of a political fight. One of them, Ondrej Dostál of the Freedom and Solidarity party said it is ridiculous that the President should be controlled by the same MPs who are covering up the Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák's business links to alleged tax fraudster Ladislav Bašternák and Prime Minister Robert Fico, who lives in a flat owned by him.
