The Director General of the Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS), Jaroslav Rezník, sees the future of the public service broadcaster remaining in its existing premises, i.e. in Mlynská Dolina and in the inverted pyramid building on Mýtna Street. The director presented his plans to the Parliamentary Committee on Culture and Media, which on Tuesday discussed the report on the activity of the broadcaster and its board during the first six months of this year. Along with negotiating the terms and conditions of a state contract for the next five years, Rezník is asking the state for €32 million. Since the condition of several buildings already endangers equipment inside them, the money is needed urgently, the director claims.
