The Slovak economy should grow this year by 3.3%. This stems from the latest macroeconomic prognosis released by the Finance Ministry's Financial Policy Institute on Thursday. This year, it is mostly the continuing growth in household consumption in the wake of an improving situation on the labour market that is driving the increase in GDP. Compared with the previous forecast in June this year, estimates of economic developments have not changed. In the next year, the economy should grow realistically by 4.2%, by 4.4% in 2019 and by 3.9% in 2020.
