Call against law amendment

14 MEPs joined their Slovak colleagues in their call against amending the law on the Nation's Memory Institute. Members of the European parliament claim that similar institutions must be highly professional and independent without any kind of political interventions. They view the law amendment as a threat to this mission. This draft amendment was proposed by one independent and 4 coalition MPs.
