The biggest security risk currently faced by Slovakia is the evil lurking in our country and whose growth is helped by public misconceptions, said President Andrej Kiska on Wednesday. Speaking during a visit to the Seniors' Club at the Jewish Religious Society in Bratislava, Kiska specifically mentioned Marián Kotleba and his far-right People's Party Our Slovakia. "It's up to us all to expose what's hiding behind Kotleba, to talk publicly about how twisted it is to hate someone just because their beliefs, race or skin colour are different," said the head of state, noting that this issue is especially relevant in the run-up to the Memorial Day for Victims of the Holocaust and Racial Violence on September 9.
