On Monday, Ministers of the Slovak and Czech governments are meeting at an away-from-home session at Lednice Castle, Czech Republic. The main topics of the historically fifth joint session are bilateral relations, the preparation of joint events and celebrations at special upcoming occasions. These include the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia's foundation, the 50th anniversary of the Prague Spring and the 25th anniversary of the independence of both countries, all coming up in 2018. Ministers will also discuss cooperation in the fields of motorway and railway infrastructure, energy, defence and security. Moreover, they should also discuss the current EU agenda and cooperation within the Visegrad four formation of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
