“Division of Czechoslovakia - Matter of Past”

Analysing the events surrounding the division of Czechoslovakia 25 years ago is of no importance, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has stated in a discussion on Czech public TV. According to him, it is now more important to discuss the process of EU integration and the role that Slovakia and the Czech Republic will play in this process. Marking the 25^th anniversary of the signature of the agreement to divide Czechoslovakia on August 25, Fico took part in a TV discussion with his Czech counterpart Bohuslav Sobotka.
