The Governmental Office announced last week that the public hearing of the 9 candidates for the chairman of the Office for Public Procurement will be held on Wednesday, 30th August. The date was set two weeks after publishing the materials on the candidates. Several NGOs criticised the date and refused to participate in the hearing. They claim that their proposals concerning the process of choosing the right candidate were not accepted by the government. The problem is the high number of participants and the lack of time available to prepare in a professional manner for the hearing.
