Legendary Russian figure skater Evgeni Plushenko received an award for his contribution to sport from the Slovak Olympic Committee in Bratislava on Saturday. "… He has a very positive relationship towards Slovakia and he's a role model for our athletes," said the Committee's Vice-president Zdenko Kriz about the two-time Olympic gold medallist, three-time World champion and seven-time European champion in figure skating.
