On Thursday, the Slovak National Party (SNS) should decide if it will remain in the Government and under what conditions. According to its chair Andrej Danko, many members want to leave the Coalition. As TASR wrote on Wednesday, the SNS will demand tougher rules for the publishing of property declarations by public officials at the Coalition Council meeting, due to take place on Friday. "If the Government is actually so interested in fighting corruption, it must lead by example. It cannot be a problem for any minister or public official to document all of their property in detail," explained SNS leader Andrej Danko. The coalition found itself in a crisis after Danko withdrew from the coalition in the middle of August after medializing problems with a Euro Fund call at the Education Ministry conducted by the SNS. The second of the three coalition parties, Most-Hid, wrote in its statement to TASR that the party is urging its coalition partners to behave in a serious manner ahead of Friday's Coalition Council.
