President Andrej Kiska has appeared on top in a survey of the most trusted politicians in Slovakia, conducted in the first week of August by the Focus agency. Approximately 27 percent of respondents placed Kiska in pole position at a whisker from Prime Minister Robert Fico who came second with 26.5 percent. Speaker of Parliament Andrej Danko is the third most trusted politician in Slovakia at 14.4 percent. Respondents expressed equal trust between Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák and far-right party leader Marian Kotleba. A fifth of them, however, could not name a single politician whom they trust.
