A group of 18 young people from war-afflicted parts of Ukraine is spending part of the summer holidays in Slovakia under a project called Together in Europe organised by the Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Prešov, the TASR press agency reported. The young people, aged 14-18, come from the areas of Donetsk, Odessa and Kyiv. Some of them have lost their fathers in the armed conflict, while the fathers of others are still in the army. "These are children who were resettled from their homes while their parents are fighting. We don't have peace in our homes, so we've come to unwind in Slovakia. We thank all our Slovak friends for helping us," said Daria Vorontsova, one of the Ukrainian guides accompanying the group. The Archeparchy has organised a summer camp for Ukrainian children and youth from the conflict zone for a third year now.
