The growth of the Slovak economy in the third quarter by 0.2 % in quarterly terms was slightly faster than the Financial Policy Institute (IFP) of the Ministry of Finance expected.
In the September estimate IFP predicted growth over the second quarter by 0.1 %. The Slovak economy was moderately boosted over the third quarter of this year. According to a flash estimate from the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic the country’s gross domestic product at constant prices soared by 0.9 percent while it grew 0.8 percent in the second quarter of the year. The economy thus continues growing in quarterly terms.
