From today, smokers in Bratislava are no longer able to light up cigarettes in Grasalkovič Park behind the Presidential palace, and in the so called Medical Garden Park, Medická záhrada.
If people want to smoke near schools, medical or cultural centres, social service places or near to office buildings, they have to keep the distance of at least 4 metres from the building’s entrance. These orders are part of the new regulation passed at the city council of the Bratislava Old Town last month.
