Slovakia to set boundaries of Primeval Beech Forests

Slovakia has declared that it will set the boundaries of the Carpathian Primeval Beech Forests in Eastern Slovakia by February 2018, wrote TASR on Saturday. It will also ensure protection from logging and establish appropriate rules for such locations in terms of farming. This conclusion is the result of a government-approved proposal. The Environment Ministry has stated that preserving the rare Carpathian Primeval Beech Forests is its priority.
