The National Point of Contact at the State Veterinary and Food Administration found out that a pasteurised egg mixture was supplied to four hotels in Bratislava, TASR learnt on Thursday. The Agriculture Ministry received this information on Wednesday via an early warning system. According to Agriculture Minister Gabriela Matečná, the minimum residual limit of fipronil in the eggs was exceeded by more than five times. She also added that the four targeted hotels were part of luxurious chains.
