As well as the seventh Rainbow Pride Bratislava, the capital city will also be hosting on Saturday a march called Hrdí na rodinu or Proud for Family. The main theme of the pride parade is the issue of the visibility of the LGBTI community in Slovakia. On the other hand, Proud for Family is aimed at the supporters of so-called traditional family values. The conservative march is a reaction to the pride festival. The pride parade will also host various musicians, speakers, and it has been supported by numerous public figures and politicians. It is expected that more people will attend the Rainbow Pride than the Proud for Family march.
