The long-distance swimmer Zuzana Jusková is the first Slovak woman to swim across the English Channel, or la Manche. On Wednesday, with a time of 11 hours and 16 minutes, this 43-year-old swimmer from Košice also set the new Slovak record. Before Jusková, 6 Slovak men have managed to swim across the English Channel, the first being Zoltán Makai, who was this time in the vessel accompanying Jusková.
