Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák left for a business trip to Germany. Together with his counterpart Sigmar Gabriel, they were to sign a memorandum on a systemic co-operation between the two countries. The document sets the conditions for the system of regular political and expert tutorials and mutual coordination of both countries on the level of ministers and high state officials. It also confirms an intensified form of co-operation that Germany sustains with selected countries. This co-operation was agreed upon during Prime Minister Robert Fico's visit to Berlin in April on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of signing the basic treaty between Germany and the then Czechoslovak Federal Republic.
