The number of people in Slovak cinemas has dramatically risen. Over the last six months, Slovak cinemas have welcomed more than 3.5 million visitors, which is a third more than in the same period last year. Another positive aspect is that it is Slovak movies which find themselves on top of the list of the most viewed films. The most popular movie was Všetko alebo nič (All or Nothing) based on a best-selling book by Eva Urbaníková. This movie alone has had more than 330,000 spectators, which is 30,000 more than all the Slovak movies screened in 2016.
