A woman was seriously injured yesterday after exiting her vehicle on a section of the D1 highway between Červeník and Trnava.
At approximately 10:30 AM the woman stopped her vehicle with Bratislava plates on the D1 highway and exited her vehicle without wearing a required reflective vest and was subsequently hit by a truck, sustaining serious injuries, informed the spokesperson at the Regional Police Headquarters in Trnava Mária Linkešová. The woman remains in Trnava hospital in a serious condition, while police have opened an investigation into the accident.
