Even two weeks after being disqualified from Tour de France, the Slovak cyclist Peter Sagan did not condone the fact that the judges eliminated him after the fourth stage of the race. Sagan confessed this in an exclusive interview for the German television ZDF during one of his trainings in Monaco. Sagan said that after looking at the video in slow motion and from different angles, he thinks that the referees made hasty decisions, which is something he cannot accept. The two-time world champion was disqualified from the prestigious cycling race for allegedly causing a crash, which left the British cyclist Mark Cavendish injured.
