From wedding to jail: drunk groom attacks a police car

In the dying moments of his wedding festivities on Sunday (July 16) at a hotel in Michalovce (Košice region), a rather wild idea occurred to the 25-year-old groom, who had drunk one too many. The newlywed chose to strip off all his clothes and lie upon the roof of a parked police cruiser. After his newlywed wife pulled him off the car, the man repeatedly kicked the vehicle's mirror and rear fender. By wreaking havoc on the roof, mirror and fender of the vehicle, the young man caused as-of-yet unspecified damage, prompting the start of a criminal prosecution. If found guilty, the groom might face up to three years in jail.
