Mayor of Prešov Andrea Turčanová at 2.30 p.m on Thursday called off the state of emergency that she had declared late on Wednesday (July 5) evening in the wake of a destructive windstorm, TASR learnt on the same day. Work to clear up the debris continues all across the country in the towns and villages hit by the heavy storm. Meteorologists also predicted storms and heavy rain showers for Friday.
