The Slovak national theatre has prepared for November 8th the world premiere of an opera named Dorian Gray, which was composed by the Slovak composer Ľubica Čekovská.
Inspired by the work of the famous Irish writer and poet Oscar Wilde, the libretto was written by a well known Canadian writer Kate Pullinger. Both authors are questioning the importance of the physical and spiritual appearances of beauty and evil. The opera is directed by the young German director, Nicola Raab.
